These Aussiespeed small block Chevy wrinkle black powder coated (w/ accent sanded fins) valve covers give that cool old school hotrod look, while making a BIG impression. They feature integrated cast funnel shaped breathers to shield oil caps and PCV valves from direct oil contact, and since they are cast in, there are no little screws or baffles to come loose!
These sand cast aluminum rocker covers will fit Small block Chevrolet engines
(283 305 307 327 350 383 400). Will NOT fit 1955-1956 heads with the staggered holes, or vortec heads with the center holes.
The internal measurement of the valve covers is 95mm tall so their is plenty of room for roller rockers and stud girdle clearance. The external height including the fin is around 100mm or 4 inches and the gasket flanges on the bottom are a thick wide face for better gasket sealing.
Designed and manufactured in Australia, they are far superior in quality to the cheap imports.
These covers are not brittle and prone to breaking like die cast, and unlike the leak prone chrome stamped valve covers, these seal up very nicely! These also give you more clearance for roller rockers, and they look amazing too!
These center bolt valve covers are taller than both tin and plastic valve covers and have a drip lip cast into the valve cover to deflect oil away from the gasket area.
The cover is supplied with both rubber grommets for the breather/PCV (PCV and breathers sold separately, check out our matching breather covers and air filters). There are no plates, no screws, no rivets and no other loose parts inside to come loose and destroy your motor! The baffle to control oil windage is cast in as part of the valve cover
