1900 - Chairman of the Committee on Indian Affairs authorized payment to Osage Indians of 0 each, based on treaty money held in trust.  The Osage Nation did not want this payment arrangement for several reasons outlined in this document, but they did want the government to investigate trader claims of money owed by the Osage, which the Indians claim was a fraudulent demand.
Removed from 6"x9" bound volume; edgewear as shown. Two pages in good condition.
