This is a pair of awesome original GM finned aluminum valve covers for 1959-1967 Corvettes. The underside of both covers is cast "3767493" and "LESTER" as shown. The 3767493 is the GM part number. I imagine LESTER is the company that GM appointed to cast these covers or make the molds. These covers are very unique production line installed versions. This is because in mid 1967 the mold broke for these cover. After that point, every cover cast had a casting line/flaw through the "o" in Corvette. These original covers without the flaw through the "o" have always been hard to find and are becoming near impossible to locate in any condition. Don't miss this very nice original pair.These covers are in very good original condition as shown. I used plastic media to remove the debris from the surface without altering the original finish. These covers do not appear to have been sand or glass bead blasted. They have no pitting or corrosion. There are also no cracks, repairs, chipped fins, etc.
