U S SENATE Silverplate Individual Coffee or Tea Pot C1916 Incredibly Scarce G

Description

We are pleased to offer a lovely silverplated individual coffee or tea pot made for the U S Senate by International Silver.  The spout and handle are decorated with a fern type ornament and the finial is an elegant oval.  International Silver sometimes marked holloware it made for commercial enterprises with a square and a number to signify the date.  This piece has a 16 in a square so it would seem it was made in 1915 and it is also stamped U S Senate on the bottom.  It's a terrific find for the political collector and/or the silverplate collector!

Condition:
Excellent - it has minor use scratches;  but no plate wear or loss or shadows.  The interior has minor wear on the bottom (see photo).  There are patent numbers on the handle for its design.
