    Description

Jesse Helms was one of the more "colorful" members of the US Senate. Also known as "Senator No" he was loved or hated with great passion. Helms was first elected to Raleigh City Council as a Democrat and remained a conservative democrat until deciding to change parties and run for senate as a republican with the Nixon sweep of 1972. Many of his views were quite conservative and rather controversial. This pass was provided by Senator Helm's office for the Senate Chamber. It was issued during the time of the 107th Congress which started with confirming the Bush vs. Gore decision of the USSC and shortly thereafter, dealt with the 9/11 attack.
****Please note, you will receive one of how ever many are still listed. The picture is from the original 9 I had. The chance that you will get the exact card in the photo is 11%. The chance that you will not get that card is 89%. This card was created at a time that they used inked stamp pads and rubber signature stamps for the signature. Some signatures are more prominent or on center than others. If it means a lot to you for it to look exactly like the one in the picture, then please contact me to discuss what I have left. They are all authentic, from the original "Senator NO"s office. However, some signatures are more prominent than others, some are more centered than others, some are lighter than others, but there is a randomness to the signature since they most likely went through the stack stamping card after card until they were finished.*****
