It's a full network appliance called an Application Delivery Analysis Multi-Port Monitor that includes the software to run the intended functions. Most users would probably prefer to install their own OS and use the hardware directly, but there is full-featured software included (technical support NOT included). This server is based around a Supermicro X9DRD-EF Motherboard featuring TWO (2) x Intel E5-2630 V2 CPUs and includes SIXTEEN (16) 2TB Seagate Constellation.3 6Gbps SAS 3.5" HDDs, TWO (2) 240GB Intel DC S3500 2.5" SATA III SSDs, 128GB 1600MHz Ram (8 x 16GB 12800R), an Adaptec RAID 7805Q with battery backup and a Napatech NT20E2 FPGA accelerator PCIe Add-In Card with 2x10G SFPs included
